Upper Canyon Stewardship | July 26th from 10AM-12PM

  • Claremont Canyon Conservancy Oakland, CA 94705 Oakland, CA United States (map)

Cal students volunteering on Berkeley Project day. Many volunteers dug up non-native and invasive poison hemlock. A shout out to everyone who joined us in Claremont Canyon and helped remove over 1,000 non-native plants, including French broom.

Join us at Signpost 29 for a day of restoration (1.5 miles up Claremont from the intersection of Ashby/Tunnel Rd.) every fourth Saturday of the month as we work to restore and maintain pathways, remove invasive broom, and collect litter. We will be clearing the main trails from overgrown plants and using weed wrenches to pull French broom and other non-native plants.
