Berkeley High Green Team volunteers join the stewards to help clear the Alvarado trail from eucalyptus debris. Volunteers filled various bags with larger branches, bark, leaves, and pods to help make the trail easier to walk on.
Join the Garber Park Stewards for a fun day of restoration! Visit this 13-acre park and volunteer from 9am-12pm (mostly) every first and third Saturday of the month to help create a more native, traversable, and fire safe park! Meet at the Fire Place Plaza, just below Evergreen Lane. The stewards will work towards clearing more sections of the trails, removing more invasive and non-native plants, and work towards getting ready for MLK Day of Service. Come out and help lower fire fuels from the park!
