Garber Park Volunteer Day | Saturday, January 10 from 10am-12pm

Join the Garber Park Stewards for a fun day of restoration! Visit this 13-acre park and volunteer from 9am-12pm (mostly) every first and third Saturday of the month to help create a more native, traversable, and fire safe park! The stewards will work towards clearing more sections of the trails, removing more invasive and non-native plants, and work towards getting ready for MLK Day of Service. Come out and help lower fire fuels from the park!

MLK Day of Service | Monday, January 19 from 9am-12pm

Join the Garber Park Stewards, Conservancy members, and North Hills Community Association as we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service in Garber Park. We will pull invasive plants and remove eucalyptus debris from the park. This is a habitat restoration event filled with plant ID opportunities and a goal to help make the park more fire safe.

Join us at Signpost 29 for a day of restoration (1.5 miles up Claremont from the intersection of Ashby/Tunnel Rd.) every fourth Saturday of the month as we work to restore and maintain pathways, remove invasive broom and collect litter.

Join Dave Quady, Audubon Christmas Bird Count leader for Claremont Canyon, and your Conservancy host Nancy Mueller as we look for birds that breed in the Canyon. We’ll search for year-round resident birds and Neotropical migrant birds that have returned to breed.

Earth Day with the Claremont Resort and Club | Tuesday, April 22nd from 9:30am-11:30am (Lunch at noon)

Join the Claremont Resort and Club, Conservancy members, and the Garber Park Stewards on Earth Day. We will be helping clean up the public paths leading to the Evergreen entrance and a few volunteers will be helping in Garber Park.
