A pair of colorful snakes were discovered underneath a pile of plant debris on last month's volunteer day in Garber Park. At our spring bird walk, around 30 species were identified by bird enthusiasts and birders. Send us an email to sign up for a future walk.

Species identified on April 23, 2023 Bird Walk
In all, 16 species were identified, including a wild turkey in mid-flight. Nancy Mueller, host of the event, said, "It was a big thrill for me to see a turkey flying down Claremont Avenue. I had no idea they could fly."
