Effective Measures for Ember Resilience

At our 2025 Annual Meeting, our keynote speaker, Berkeley’s Assistant Fire Chief Colin Arnold shared with us how to make our homes and neighborhoods more wildfire safe. He shared a presentation showing the effective measures for Berkeley’s ember resilience which are also of utmost importance to us. Creek to Bay Day in Garber Park: Saturday, September 20 from 9am-12pm. Save the Date: Annual Meeting Sunday, November 16 from 4-6pm at the Claremont Resort and Club. Venture outdoors and explore the wonders of Claremont Canyon! Attend our Fall Bird Walk or explore the trails in search of butterflies! And, take a look at Jerry Kent’s presentation where he shows us the history of the Canyon and the important work the Conservancy is doing.

Dear friends and neighbors please join us on Sunday, November 10 from 4-6 P.M. at the Claremont Club and Spa to listen to our invited speaker—Amy Bach, co-founder and executive director of United Policyholders (UP)—a non-profit organization that advocates for insurance consumers. Amy will update us about the homeowner insurance crisis and what can be done to address it.
